Minutes from the SVA Meeting held October 7, 2015
Meeting began at 3pm.
- Elections were held at last meeting for Treasurer.
- Forrest Haynes was voted into the position.
- SVA participated in the Homecoming Parade on Oct 1.
- Brookhaven Courier will be contacting the participants to get input for an article they are doing on the event.
- Volunteer hours were counted per person. This event net 12.5hrs towards the SVA club total.
- Leadership Cadet Corps visit previously scheduled for Sept 30th was rescheduled to Thursday Oct 8th.
- Those able to participate are to report to Marsh MS at 815a for briefing and check-in. Wear SVA T-shirts
New Business
- Career Expo is Thursday Oct 8th in the T Bldg from 10am to 1pm

- FT/PT hiring, internships and drawings every 30 minutes

- Group sessions and 1-on-1 interpretation of results available through the Career Development Center (Room S065)

- Interview practice: record your responses and view and/or have them evaluated for effectiveness
